Sydney Dust Storm
Posted on September 23, 2009
A huge outback dust storm that turned Sydney red and orange was like a scene from another planet . I woke up early around 6. Looked at the window and I thought it was just the beautiful sunrise. I went for a walk with my camera and found that the sky and everything below all covered in a red-orange tint. I pity anyone who forgot to get their washing off the line yesterday
The view from my window: Redfern: 6.15 am. These photos have not been retouched!

A normal day and a dusty day

Below it’s me taking photos. Images by Jason Howitt . I met him like many other photographers this morning

This was such an amazing morning …
Marzenka, they are amazing! Great job as usual.
Right person in right moment.
Keep going like this.
A most beautiful set of photographs. I envy your artistic vision and talent as well as yur technical skill. You are an inspiration to hobbiest photographers such as me. May you continue with your excellent work.
Just fabulous! Beautiful work! Had a look at your other albums too – magic. Congratulations
Thank you guys
I really appreciate your comments.
Incredible pic! Dreamy, delicate, misty & magical! Love it!
All the session is fantastic. My fovorites are these where the orange glow contrasts the white lights; it’s like black&white pictures but orange&white.
